West London Aero Club

At White Waltham people are trained for the Private Pilot's Licence and for additional ratings, such as the tailwheel aircraft rating and the IMC rating (for use in poor weather). But that is not all WLAC has to offer. 

West London Aero Club supplies a range of aircraft to meet the needs of its students and members. All aircraft are carefully maintained to ensure the highest level of safety. The Club Aircraft Fleet includes Arrow, Archer, Cessna, Warrior, Cherokee, Super Cub, Pitts Special and Extra 300. Aircraft are available for private hire (touring) and student training with an instructor.

The facility also includes an various engineering teams, including a Russian engineering team, who keep the Yaks in great shape. White Waltham is one of the few places where the Yaks can be tended to, due to the complexity of their engines and systems.
