Aero Expo was another great success this year, with hundreds of exhibitors and visitors attending the event.
The Yakovlevs returned to one of their favourite shows in the year, to support their partners; Garmin, Shell and Emery Little Insurance.
The show, held at Wycombe Air Park (Booker), featured many attractions, including one of the team's Yak50s, right outside the Garmin stand. Jez, lead pilot and owner of the Yakovlevs was in attendance, as were Philip Moore and Sanne van Maurik, part of the ground support team. The girls of the insurance company Emery Little were also on hand, and attracted much attention, as did Milo the dog, who also stars in Phil's recently-published work, Utterly Ridiculous.
Garmin's stand featured gadgets such as the popular GPSMAP 496. Simular to the GPSMAP 296, this model includes terrain alerting, VRPs, which makes the pilot's journey that much safer. All the Yakovlevs aircraft have been kitted out with Garmin equipment, which is also
available on the Shop page on our website. Shell's stand was also proved very popular throughout the weekend, with many visitors enquiring after
the many products on offer with Shell.
Emery Little received a record number of enquiries, and according to managing director Nik Little, the company is now running at full speed processing all the enquiries.
We will be posting a selection of photos of the show very shortly, so keep checking back with us. We would also welcome your own submissions!
